Stephanie von Friedeburg serves as Interim Managing Director and Executive Vice President (MD EVP) at IFC, a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. Ms. von Friedeburg has also served as IFC’s Chief Operating Officer since December 2017 and leads all IFC investment operations and advisory services, delivering private sector capital and solutions to create jobs, positive development outcomes, and opportunities in the world’s poorest and most fragile countries.
